This work is SWEET!

Well, well, well, hello there my most dear family and friends!
What can i say, all is well here in LIB! im healthy, happy, dry, safe, and just full of the spirit this week! it truly has been a spiritual week and im so grateful for that! :) no letters yet. only got 3 on my mission so far. 1- mom and dad 1- lauren morris and 1- sisar Crandall. just for an update. But i have no fear, they'll make it sometime... i hope...yeah.. ohhhh gotta love LIB!! :) but life is good!
soo i was going to attach some pictures this week, but my companions cord does not fit into my camera. these computers dont have any slots but usb, so mom if you could send me a camera cord ill have no excuse for not sending pictures. haha hopefully next week ill be able to borrow another elder's cord though. :)
only killed 2 mice this week. kinda got tired of setting the trap this week and last, and we since we werent seeing much mice poop, we got lazy. dont worry, this week ill be back on mice duty! (i've killed 21 in the past 4 weeks btw)
Like i said, this week has been one full of spiritual experiences. so many! one of the most special ones occurred last week on pday. we went to attend FHE with a part member family (children are baptized, but the mom cant till her husband/ boyfriend of 14 years marries her. we are teaching the man, and praying for the spirit to touch him.) and i had brought along a children's songbook that i had bought to give to Faith, their 8 year old girl. ah! she is so sweet and cute. so smart too! you would all love her :) anyways, i sat down with her on a tree root with that songbook in my lap and her sitting next to me and we went through that book, singing the few songs she had learned in the past 4 months since she was baptized and been attending primary. There is such power in those childrens songs! ah, i think that is the book we should use in sacrament meeting! the messages are so simple and so true! I love the quote, "simplicity is ultimate complexity". those childrens songs truly put the complex principles of the gospel into simple, powerful words that children can understand.
I also taught her a few of my favorite songs, that was really nice as well :) my favorite was teaching her "Love One Another" and teaching her the signs that go with it :) it was truly a special moment for me :)
I also had to opportunity to study chapter 5 of PMG this week in detail and i simply loved it. The Book of mormon is our most powerful resource in conversion! and as "every member a missionary", i invite every person who is seeking to have more missionary experiences to deeply study that chapter. I love its message, and it says it so much better than i ever could :) the BOM is true, i know it, and i love the opportunities i have had to bear profound testimony of it this week.
this work is sweet :) i look forward to what lies ahead this coming week! and to hear from elder vincent who is visiting for zone conference tomorrow! :)
love you all!
elder fairwell

ps im so grateful for good health. i may be a little malnourished and feel weak at times, but i've never been sick, not once my entire mission! health is such a great blessing!

pps i saw a wicked 'ant stream' this week. like a flowing mass of giant african ants. maybe about 3 inches tall and never ending in either direction. had to step over it- probably the scariest moment of my life.
