Life out here on the ol'
frontier of Kasoa is going great. I couldn't be happier. Elder Kgomo and I are
experiencing miracles in our personal and missionary lives every day!
Unfortunately a few of our potential baptismal candidates for the month of
April seem to have fallen back into being complacent, but we have found huge
and wonderful success in finding new people to teach! In fact, we've even found
a Liberian family to teach with great potential, im so excited about them!
We also have begun teaching a
new brother who is making incredible progress. He was contacted at the Accra
mall by one of the area presidency this week and then referred back to my
companion and me. We've only met 3 times and he has already committed to being
baptized and leaving behind his pastoral roles in his old church because he
feels what we teach is true. Its a miracle!
Elder Kgomo is learning and
adjusting to missionary life so well. It sure isnt easy coming out on a missoin
to a strange new place like Ghana, but he is doing so well. We have a lot of
fun together learning and improving out missionary skills. Life is good!
I couldn't be happier to be
exactly where i am right now. Life is so simple. In fact, although the future
is unknown to myself, i know of no other work that involves so great of
promises of what lies ahead! Im so grateful to be in the hands of the Lord
learning and growing each day. Life is good! Have a wonderful week!
Love,
Elder Fairwell
