Woop! Its another monday! Plus, today is Subsistence day- aka manna day, Moroni has blown his trumpet etc.... life is good with coins in your pocket! 

Life has been good for me this week. No nails in my food, No vomiting or runny tummy, no car accidents, and I even slept every single night this week with a fan! LIFE IS SO GOOD!

The work has been moving on so very successfully as well. It has just proven to me that this is not My work, but the Lord's. Nothing has changes much on my part that i can think of this week, but we had wonderful success. Ill try and relate some of the wonderful people who are progressing: 

Emmanuel- an orphaned boy who showed up by chance to an LDS chapel 2 years ago, never taught but some careless missionaries baptized him on the spot. He never showed face in a chapel again till The ending of Nov last year. Incredibly, the missionaries even forged his record and fibbed most of his personal information and so for the past 2.5 months we have been trying to get permission to re-baptize, confirm and recreate his record. This sunday he is preparing to be baptized! woot! His brother was also able to find finances to send this 18 yr old to 9th grade this month to further his education. Emmanuel also was blessed by finally finding a job after months of searching. AND! in his new school, he gets to be a part of the football team- he has been searching to play professionally for some time now. its his new break! woot!

Juashim- a 14 yr old boy from Togo who only speaks french. He recently came to live with his Aunt here in Ghana and is also preparing to be baptized this Sunday. At first, he was so incredibly shy with us, but has warmed up so much! Yesterday, I was able to pull him out of his youth class (where no one speaks French) and teach a nice lesson with Elder Yao (a green missionary from Ivory Coast who is in training and learning english). It was so fun to see Eder Yao get to feel the spirit in speaking and teaching in his native tongue, and see Juashim warm up to us and learn. Too easy!!

Jonas- this brother has been coming to church since December, but is not legally married with his wife so cannot be baptized. Originally, his neighbor invited him to the church and Im pretty sure Jonas came because he heard that our chapels and bishops are free to help people get married... but over the coarse of our teaching, I have watched his desire to get a free marriage become a desire to have a remission of sins. Saturday, he quietly said to me that he never imagined all the things we could teach him at the beginning of our teaching. He said he thought he knew a lot about Christianity but has come to know that we've only scratched the surface. It was a tender moment for me! (btw, within the next few months the marriage should take place and then his wife is also willing to come to the church! sweet!) 

Honest- strange name isnt it? we met him while contacting and he promised to come to church after our first introductory meeting. Incredibly, he did! He is a single, 20 yr old dude working and going to school. He has come to church twice counting yesterday, and is excited for his baptism at the close of this month. He calls himself a member already to his friends whom he invites to join our lessons! woot!

Amos- This guy doesnt speak a lick of english because his parents were never able to send him to school. He is around 24 yrs old, stays in a house with a bunch of guys and accepted and invitation to come to church from his recent convert member. He doesnt understand the restoration, but wants to draw closer to God and feels this is the right place for him. Wow! its so wonderful!  

Anyways, life is good. Im looking forward to this coming week to see all the Lord has in store for us! I hope each of you also have a blessed week!
